What was Hartalika Teej's nickname?
Hartalika Teej is named after the legend related to it. Harat means "abduction" while Aalika means "female friend". The mythology says that goddess Parvatihad an acquaintance who took Parvati into the dense forest to guard her against her father, who was trying to marry her to Lord Vishnu
